The new generation of platforms available is fostering new ways for end users to consume music and video. Interactivity is no longer just a buzzword but something, fans expect of the artists. This development has led to the birth of a new platform for consumption of concerts and events called Re:Mix. Re:Mix will launch at the SPOT Festival May 1 with two brand new concert apps for two of the biggest bands in Denmark – Nephew and Kashmir.

Thor Hampus Bank and Thomas Scherning from the company Re:Mix will join us for a talk around their new concert platform and discuss how artists can exploit the new digital media to create new interesting products for their fans. Also Kristian Riis from Nephew will drop by to talk about, why Nephew finds this technology exciting and what opportunities they see in this. And last but not least Paul Tyler, former BBC producer in cross media and the man behind handlingideas.com, will also appear to talk about the new opportunities, platforms like Re:Mix can potentially give the musicians nowadays.

There will be a live demo of the Nephew and/or Kashmir app built on the Re:Mix platform, and a discussion of how new media and gadgets can be used to produce meaningful products for the end user.
