After winning the ‘Career Canon’ in 2008 there was plenty of airplay for Ida Gard. The debut album was finished in New York, where James Siegel’s grand sound was a nice contrast to the Dane’s underplayed expression. Ida Gard has won many hearts both in Denmark and abroad with her heartfelt, atmospheric pop. On her latest album, “Doors”, she reflects on the trade-offs that form the course of one’s life.
