The inspiration is Sigur Rós and Bon Iver and this clearly comes through in the sound image when Mathias Barfod and Matias Knigge play music as The Attic Sleepers. The songs are focused on the grandiose and the good melody led by Mathias Barfod’s characteristic vocal.
