NITSA 94/96 is a celebration of the electronic music scene in Barcelona and the club where it all began, Nitsa. Here the pioneers of the genre had free rein, and the club became an icon for the entire culture that began to thrive around festivals like Primaavera Sound and Sónar. The filmic style is governed by the pulse of the soundtrack while the story is driven by the question of how a music scene was borne in the course of just two magical years in the mid 90s. The film will be followed by a Q&A with the director of the film, Àlex Julià.
