Three widely different Nordic soloists have put three of their own songs on the game for a  new arrangement during the project Nordlyd. Ane Brun (NO), Mikael Simpson (DK), and Alice Boman (SE), have been chosen by Nordlyd’s composer, Mette Dahl Kristensen herself. The songs are selected in dialogue with the three concerning singers and Mette Dahl Kristensen who has rearranged the three solo artists’ songs for thirty-seven string players.
A unique performance – only to be experienced at SPOT.

New compared to last years’ Nordlyd is that the concerts will be accompanied by film and visuals. Icelandic Hlynur Palmason has created a movie to describe “process – the very creative development”.

By now NAKED has become a recurrent SPOT event, where only the Swedish pianist Gustaf Ljunggren, who has among others worked with Jørgensen and Robyn, accompanies four Danish, in very diverse genres, yet all very successful solo artists: Pernille Rosendal (The Storm, ex Swan Lee), Lucy Love, Mads Damsgaard Kristensen (Reptile Youth) and Frederik Verdersø (The Eclectic Moniker).

Finally, both Afenginn and Penny Police will go on stage in special formats at SPOT: Afenginn will play their concert with 16-strong choir Choirnevale, while Penny Police will team up with classical composer Signe Lykke for the work “Join Forces” with a ten-piece ensemble.
