Disa (IS)

Copenhagen-resident Icelander Disa Jakobs captures the listener with her angel-light vocal and a dark synth-heavy sound landscape. With her background in a music-tradition where the voice is the primary and most important instrument Disa creates symphonic and picturesque compositions that crosses musical genre-borders. She is compared to Björk and Kate Bush, but Disa is definitely one of a kind.
