The great puzzle has been solved and we’re now ready to present the full program and schedule for SPOT Festival, which is taking place between 1st and 4th of May.

This will be the biggest program SPOT Festival has ever presented and includes 165 live shows, 38 films, 30 seminars along with the SPOT Interactive conference.

A broad music program with focus on quality

For 20 years SPOT Festival has presented a broad variety of exciting bands from the danish and nordic music scene. The confirmed acts for 2014 are no exceptions.

Some of the bigger players on the danish music scene have been included in the program, not only because of their artistic quality, but to generate a bigger international awareness of these more established danish acts – Christopher, Turboweekend, Mads Langer and Choir Of Young Believers.

Newer acts, who’ve been drawing quite a lot of attention and hype to themselves from all over the world are also included in the program. Broken Twin, who recently signed to ANTI Records, Go Go Berlin, Kellermensch and Blaue Blume.

Lesser known danish bands who posses the artistic qualifications to break through to national and international scenes will also be present with the likes of Maskinvåd, Quick Quick Obey, Get Your Gun, Fossils and Ice Cream Cathedral.

As usual we also present some of the best nordic acts right now – Grísalappalísa (IS), Amason (SE), Elin Kåven (NO) and Jaakko Eino Kalevi (FI).

SPOT FILM – Take one

As something new SPOT Festival will be hosting a big film program that won’t require wristbands for admittance. SPOT Film will step into the footsteps of SPOT Music and gradually create a forum to showcase new nordic film talents and tendencies.

It’s now possible to see the complete program which features 38 films at spotfestival.dk

You will find three different branches of films. SPOT The Music will feature the best and most entertaining music documentaries from all over the world. SPOT The Film will present 12 new danish documentaries and fictional films. Among these 12 films one will be chosen to receive SPOT The Music Award. Lastly, SPOT The Video will showcase the most original and entertaining music videos that have been produced recently.
